Eddie Lee and Margie (Mahaffey) McCord. Eddie is the son of Henry J. and Clara M. (Bethel) McCord from Bates. Eddie has been a Baptist minister for 50 years with his first sermon given at the Bates Baptist church when was only 13 years old. He has been back to Bates several times over the years for Church Revivals. He is a minister at the Mount Ida, Arkansas Baptist Church today. |

Buddy Gray of Waldron, his daughter Tina Holmes of Hon and Claudia and Jack Hamilton of Little Rock. At the Bethel Family Reunion in Waldron in June 2005. The lack of interest in family relationships and family history has apparently taken its toll amoungest the younger generations of the Bethel ancestors as in many other families with only a couple dozen people at this years get together. |
