House/Store at Jones Creek
The little store and bait shop at Jones Creek today was a house at one time that use to set about a quarter of a mile down the road from where it is now. The Stonewall J. Essman family lived in the house at one time. According to Allan and Sonya Essman they believe a Major Hunsucker owned the house and that Stonewall worked for him raising cotton and let the Essman family live there in the house.
