Railroad to Bates Highway 28
Railroad tracks to Bates from Waldron. Yes, it is still in use. Taken at crossing about a mile and half east of Bates. Coming into Bates from Waldron on Highway 28.

Ezra Hargroves Store. The Everett Sanders Home
Ezra Hargroves store in 2004. One of about 6 stores that was in Bates at one time. As you can see it has been closed for a number of years now. Burns Lane in Bates, Tom and Bonnie Burn's house is seen at left. They have a pretty yard with a great garden.
