Mother, daughter, and grandchild (?). This photo is supposedly of Sally Barnes Jarman, the sister of Mary Jane Barnes McCord of near Hartford, Sebastian County, Arkansas in the late 1800's. This information has been searched and searched without finding proof. Some of the family lived at Witteville, Oklahoma in about 1890 to about 1910 which there is some proof. Witteville is just west of Poteau, Oklahoma. There is a Witteville Drive in Poteau today that goes over to where the town use to be. It was a coal mining town that closed down with the closing of the mines there. |
