The Burns House Tommy Burns and Calvin Sliger
The Burns home in Bates. Built by Thomas Burns, later James T. Burns family lived there and today Tommy Burns and Bonnie live there. This is same house as seen on previous page. Tommy Burns and Calvin Sliger of Bates in their youth.

Bates School Ouida Burns John and Minnie Sliger
The boy in front is Eddie Lee McCord with his brothers Jerry B. McCord and Byron McCord at the left. The girls are Nina Faye Burns and Ouida Burns. About 1935. Ouida Burns, daughter of James T. Burns. John F. and Minnie Sliger. Minnie was a Sorrels and was formerly married to Ed Pottridge. (See Page 3)

Lizzie Williams Barber Children Tom Canada and Tommy
Lizzie Williams. She was known as "Aunt Lizzie Williams" to many. Allen and Myrtle Westfall's children. Ollie, Fern(?), Bud, and Wayne Westfall. Tom Canada and son Tommy.

Winnie and Me? Group of Young Men
Winnie and Cora Combs A group of young men dressed up in their suits with their dress hats and hands in their pockets. Again, these men are unidentified and apparently from Bates, Cauthron or the area.
