| Matilda Mae Farmer Cook and daughter Myrtle (born in 1905). Mae's full name was Matilda Mae Farmer and was the daughter of George W. and Mary B. Farmer of Bates. Mae was married to Oliver Cook and lived at Gipson until 1909 when he past away. She married James Arthur Hill of Cauthron on March 20, 1910, she was 21 and Arthur was 26. |

| Tonnie Sorrels of Bates, Arkansas. He was known as Tony Sorrels in Texas but his given name was actually Thaddeus Constant Sorrels. |
Tonnie with Tilmon Sorrels near Whitfield (not far from Briartown), Oklahoma. Tilmon was killed in World War II in "The Battle of the Bulge" in 1944. He was in a U.S. Army Airborne unit.

Children of Ed and Minnie (Sorrels) Pottridge - Edgar, Charlie, and Dessie. Ed was killed in Texas while working, Minnie later married John Sliger and died when she was 91 years of age. Dessie died at the age of 29. |
