| Pictured above are Charles and Minerva Stewart, who are found in the 1870 and 1880 census of Scott Co. Charles Stewart was born January 12, 1817 in Alabama, and died June 04, 1884 in Tomlinson Township of Scott Co. He married Minerva, who was born July 08, 1835 in Mississippi and died December 24, 1904. Both are buried in Packsaddle Cemetery, Scott Co., AR. The children of Charles & Minerva were:
1) Jesse Jerome Stewart, b. July 07, 1850, Mississippi, d. February 24, 1921, Checotah, McIntosh Co., Oklahoma. 2) Sarah F. Stewart, b. 1852, Mississippi. 3) Nancy Ann Stewart, b. 1854, Mississippi. 4) Minerva J. Stewart, b. September 1857, Arkansas. 5) Dorah Stewart, b. 1858, Arkansas. James Monroe Stewart.The picture probably dates to the 1920's. James Monroe Stewart was born March 3, 1881 in Madison County, Arkansas and died on July 30, 1936 in Belleville, Austin County, Texas. He is buried in the Woak Cemetery near Belleville. He and Martha Jane (Davenport) Meeks were married in Scott County, Arkansas on September 19, 1912. | ||||||||
